Newmarket Race Day!

Join us for a fabulous day at the races as we travel together to the Rowley Mile Racecourse in Newmarket for the Spring Meeting on Friday 15th May. This all-inclusive experience is designed for a relaxed, sociable, and thoroughly enjoyable day out from start to finish.

Your day begins at The Billericay Theatre from 9:30am, where you’ll be welcomed with Buck’s Fizz, freshly brewed tea, coffee, and pastries before boarding the coach at 10:20am for a prompt 10:30am departure to Newmarket.

Upon arrival at the racecourse, you’ll enjoy a delicious picnic lunch supplied by Platt’s Platters, featuring an array of sandwich fillings choices including mature cheddar ploughman’s, honey roast ham & mustard, tuna crunch, roast beef with horseradish & rocket, chicken sweetcorn & mayo, cheddar & honey roast ham, and egg mayo – accompanied by a homemade sausage roll, pork pie, half a Scotch egg, and more.

All of this is served alongside bottomless Wine, Beer, Prosecco Pimms, and soft drinks! The perfect way to soak up the atmosphere before the racing begins.

With the first race at 2:18pm, you’ll have time to explore the racecourse, enjoy the action, place a bet, and experience the vibrant race day atmosphere. After the final race, we’ll depart at 6pm and return to The Billericay Theatre, where the bar will be open for anyone wishing to continue the celebrations.
