WHO WE ARE
HAPA and Billericay Theatre – Coronavirus Update
We hope you are all keeping safe and well. As you are all aware the Government have ordered a minimum of one month lock down from midnight on Wednesday 4th November. This will mean that all planned events at the theatre from 5th November to 2nd December will be cancelled and rescheduled for a future date.
In addition it also means that our HAPA dance schools will have to postpone face to face teaching during lockdown. We shall, however, provide musical theatre lessons and dance classes on zoom during lockdown. You will be contacted individually to confirm the time schedule for this.
If the lockdown ends on 2nd December we shall still be going ahead with our pantomime, Beauty and the Beast. If however, the lockdown is extended the Panto will be moved to January. Rest assured it will definitely go ahead when we are able to.
Final Pre Lockdown Function
On Wednesday 4th November we are staging a final pre lockdown function in the theatre. It is a Ratpack Tribute. The doors will open at 6pm with the act starting at 7pm. We have to close by 10pm in line with regulations. We are offering our infamous meat and cheese platters which can be pre ordered when you book your tickets. Tickets are available through our box office on 01277 655861.
Lockdown ‘Box Office Brunch’
From Monday 9th November at the theatre we are launching our take away ‘Box Office Brunch.’ This will comprise of a choice of panini, side salad, crisps and coleslaw and a hot drink and will be available from 11:30 – 2:30 Monday to Friday. You can pre order by telephone or order at the theatre.
More details will be available shortly on the website. Our team look forward to seeing you all again after lockdown.
